Mo.1950 Carducci – A Domestic Landscape

For Milano Design Week 2026, Olivieri transforms Mo.1950 Carducci showroom into a contemporary Milanese apartment. Developed with Frag and complemented by LualdiMeraldi’s rugs for Carpet Edition, the project connects spaces, furnishings and finishes through a continuous material language.

At Mo.1950, Via Carducci 38, Olivieri explores the domestic interior as a continuous architectural experience. Developed together with Frag, Architecture of Continuity transforms the showroom into a contemporary Milanese apartment, where materials, systems and furnishings contribute to a shared spatial language.

The project begins with the wall. Olivieri interprets it as a form of domestic micro-architecture, capable of organising space, connecting functions and accompanying everyday life. Doors, cladding, boiserie and integrated storage extend across the interior through a sequence of Cashmere matte lacquer, Malt Oak veneer and Nomad fabric in the Sasso colourway. Each surface establishes a relationship with the next, creating a gradual transition between the different areas of the home.

Furniture develops this same idea at another scale. Frag’s Clubby seating collection, Myon side tables, Ocean armchair, Syren chairs and Hudson Day Bed bring comfort and character to the architectural composition.

The new rug collection by LualdiMeraldi studio for Carpet Edition adds another material layer, following the same calibrated palette and contributing to the interior’s fluid rhythm.

The kitchen brings these different systems together in a single composition. The Olivieri Cashmere features a matte lacquer finish, with wave detailing and integrated elements that define its structure. A QuadroDesign tap designed by Giacomo Moor completes the composition.
