Digital spaces, like physical ones, consume resources. Every page view, server request, and data transfer carries a material footprint.

For this reason, this journal is designed with attention to its operational impact. During selected periods, the platform slows down or enters a temporary pause mode, reducing traffic, server activity, and energy consumption.

This decision is part of a broader approach to resource awareness. Rather than treating sustainability as an isolated feature, we are working to integrate it into the way this digital environment is conceived, developed, and maintained.

While eliminating impact is not currently possible, reducing unnecessary consumption remains a practical and ongoing responsibility. This journal is one attempt to engage with that responsibility through design, technology, and everyday choices.
